What do we do?
Now given that it seems quite impractical for the nation to unify to one church until the Lord comes, what do we as christians do about living in a state that is slowly twisting its moral values in order to please everyone? Is it ok for us to sit back and pay taxes that will go, indirectly under the new health bill, to support things like abortion? Should we sit back and watch as it becomes accepted for gays to live perverted and completely immoral lives? The government is there to maintain social order and killing babies and allowing for men to live perverse lives together is not very orderly, and there are many other examples of twisted moral values found in the culture that are not only accepted, but endorsed by the government. So what can we do about it?
We can do everything in our power as voters to elect people that will hold to the morals we keep, but that wont be enough. If the government were to ban abortion it would cause social uprisings, not order. So I think the only thing we can do about it is to become leaders and strive to spread the word of Christ as much as we can. What we really need is a great awakening like the one in the 1700s. Our generation needs to rise up and make a change. But unfortunately we most likely wont have an impact that changes the world because its biblical that the world is a broken place and in all practicality, we most likely won't see unity among our nation until the Lord comes. But at that point it will be an unbelievable thing to see because every knee will bow. With that being said, we are called to strive for perfection, so we need to do everything we can to try to enlighten our nation with the knowledge of Christ. It definitely could use it.

Check out Google scribe, it capable of attempting to complete my thoughts and almost continue my sentences. It suggests phrases and sentences to use as a guide. It works pretty effectively in blogging. I'm actually using it right now and its ok but not as great as I had hoped. We have to check this out.
The Blood Bought Church
See and that's your problem. Why should the blood bought church get priority over the muslim church or the jewish synagogue? You cannot unify the church and the state unless you first unify the church (and by church I mean religion) and that is why it cannot be done, and why the church and the state remain separated despite the moral conduct that the government itself creates and establishes that seemingly come from nowhere, but clearly develop from religion.

What church?
Given the below statements, ill respond. The church that should be involved is clear to me: The blood bought church. Now there are two big problems that come with that statement, one being that not everyone in the state agrees, the other being that there are differences in interpretations of some things among the blood bought church. To address the second issue, i believe when considering the morals God instructs us to in the bible it is for the most part agreed upon by any church looking to Jesus as their only hope. There may be many differences in things such as predestination and baptism and things that aren't necessarily directly involved with moral standards.
Now to address the first issue stated: Not everyone would agree with my opinion that the blood bought church should be involved in deciding morals based on the word of God. This is what the hang up has and most likely will be until the lord comes. Not everyone in the state is going to agree with the opinion so now the real quesstion that needs to be posed is, how can that be overcome? How do we get to the point where our political leaders can openly look to the church for morals?

Church and State
The church and state do need to be separated in their matters of direct action. However, when it comes to actions by the state, their actions do not be without any regard to religion. Religion defines the moral center throughout which everyone acts. As a result, in order for the state to make a properly and morally correct action, it must act through the authority of the state. Likewise, the church is under the authority of the state because every power put over the church is put their by God for a reason. Thus, trust in Him is essential for the Church, and trust in the Church is mandatory for the State. Thus, separation is relatively pointless in a perfect society.
However, I think the real question that should be posed is, which church SHOULD be involved. We know that there must be some sort of involvement as shown above. How do we know which one is the right one? Which Church should we take? The Hindu, the Muslim, the Presbyterian, the Catholic? And why should they be placed any higher than the others in what should be an equal world? Of course, we as christians know we are not placing ourselves above anyone, but we accept the inherent nature of scripture, but why should others accept it if they are Hindu? Why do we get to create the rules? So basically I'm asking: Instead of should the church and state be separated, one should ask, which church (religious group) should be the one that DOES interfere, as we have stated that one SHOULD.
